These are comfortable, well made, lightweight long pants. However, they are NOT "Winter Warm Work Snow Ski Pants Snowboard"

I'd say if you go into these thinking they are spring-autumn pants, they are solid. If you think they are going to be snow pants, you'll be disappointed by their warmth. for example, I run hot, and wearing these in a 30 degree dry night was extremely cold! I can't imagine in actual snow. the pockets are well done, and likely waterproof (I'm in the dry season, so I can't test)

So knowing what it is, its a solid product. If you want "ski snow pants", they'd be poor. Even so, they are pretty expensive for what they are.

These fleece lined pants are a lightweight fleece in my mind. Possibly slightly warmer than traditional sweatpants, but around that thickness. I have another pair of fleece lined pants and these are definitely not as thick as them. I did wear them outside with temps in the mid 40°s (F) and they were comfortable outside and not overly warm when I returned into the house.

The outer shell is a nylon, similar to some winter jackets I own.

As far as the fit, I am 6'4" and 230lbs (193cm and 104kg) with a typical 'dad bod' build. I did play soccer growing up and have gotten into cycling as an adult, so my legs have always been strong, but not overly big and these pants hug my thighs, but are also not overly restricting.

They are a bit shorter than I would typically wear, but I understand that since these are only made using general sizing categories and not doing the traditional WxL pant sizing. They are not so short that I can't wear them, and if I was wearing them to hike, I would maybe like them not being right on my shoes.

I am looking forward to wearing these during those cold hikes or cooler windy days on the the golf course.

These pants have a great fit. Order true to size, keep in mind, these do not go over any shorts or or other looser fitting bottoms. You wear these like pants, you may be able to get another thin thermal layer if you choose to try underneath.

The soft lining paired with the windproof and water resistant outer stretch fabric will offer a very warm option when outdoors for an extended period of time.

I would buy these pants again in different colors as a go to cool weather options for my fall and winter activities.

I purchased these for my very particular engineer partner so we could have some nice snow pants for an upcoming trip. He is incredibly fussy, values function over form, and is picky about quality and material texture. That being said, he absolutely loves these pants, and gave them an immediate affirmative reaction. He’s impressed with the softshell exterior and fleece lined interior, and I know I can see them working well for cold days around the house as well as for out of doors. The softshell exterior will keep debris, such as animal hair along with snow and light rain, from sticking to them. We live in Oregon so they’ll get plenty of use. Thank you Pioneer Camp!
