It is amazingly warm! It is my go to coat when the thermometer hits the bottom. This parka will be especially nice if I am hiking and there are frigid temperatures. It fits well over extra layers and provides good wind resistance, which was incredibly helpful this past winter. Besides providing such incredible warmth, it has magnetically-closed pockets and has great "suspender straps" attached. These allow for you to carry the coat without wearing the whole thing when one gets too too hot in it, because it is easy to overheat in it. Although not as important to me, it looks good on as well. While $195 may seem a bit pricey, it is totally worth it because you are buying "equipment" and not just a fashion accessory. If you live where it gets extremely cold, I would highly recommend this coat.
