Lightweight comfort, but maybe not if you’re tall

If you’re searching for hiking pants that you won’t overheat in, then these are the ones!

Hiking pants are always a challenge for me because of my height 5’. However, these pleasantly felt like the length was almost made for me. Even though I ordered a medium, it felt like it was in petite length. When wearing without shoes, the pants just reach above the floor, and with shoes the pants lay nicely over my boots. It reminded me of comfy scrub pants, I’d wear these all day.

My concern if you’re tall, this may or may not fit properly as far as length because even for me, the inseam was borderline. Definitely not going for a cameltoe look. And the overall length without my shoes, it hovered just above the floor. If I find my measuring tape I’ll have to measure the inseam to update my review.

The pant pockets have a nice zipper closure that slides easily. It’s also nice that is has an adjustable waistline Velcro for added comfort. The overall product seems to be made well. Its light weight material allows for sun protection without getting over heated. And it’s so light you could be easily roll it to store in your backpack for a later use. The quality justifies the price.

Very comfortable, lightweight, with just a little bit of stretch.

These travel pants are super lightweight and comfy. I am a large (12/14) and I got a large. The fit was good, no issues. I'm 5'2" and the inseam was good for me. They do seen to hug every contour of my body and seem to show all of my butt dimples :(

There is a small button snap for a waist closure that has a strong bond when it's snapped together.

The fabric of the pants is a combination of lightweight nylon and spandex. It feels light, smooth, and soft to the touch. It seems to have a little more weight to it than regular nylon, and I like that it has a little bit of stretch to them. I think these will be nice a cool in a breeze. I think they would be super comfortable for traveling, but I don't think I would like them on an airplane because it can be really cold and drafty on a plane. But if you are always hot, then I think they would be a great option. These are marketed as "hiking" pants which would be great if you want full coverage of your legs.

If you are looking for clothing that protects against the sun's harmful UV rays, this item is UPF 100+ protected and will give you the complete protection you are looking for.

There are two side pockets and two front cargo style pockets. These all have zipper closures. There are no back pockets.

I like that the waistband has an adjustable elastic that can be adjusted from both sides and secured with velcro.

I think the color of these were listed as "dark grey", but I would say the color is more of a medium to light color, as…

Columbia-level tech fabric at a better price — and finally, an inseam for us in-between folks

These cargo hiking pants have quickly become a favorite, and they nail the things I care about most in trail gear: build quality, fabric performance, and — crucially for me — length. Easy 5 stars.

Let me start with the build, because it's genuinely impressive. The construction feels solid and well-made throughout, the kind of quality that holds up to real use rather than falling apart after a season. And the tech fabric is the standout: it's comparable to what I've gotten from stateside competitors like Columbia, which is high praise. It has that same performance-oriented feel — lightweight, breathable, with good stretch and quick-drying capability — but at a more approachable price than the big-name brands. For anyone who knows their outdoor gear, getting Columbia-caliber fabric without the Columbia price tag is a real win.

What really seals it for me is the inseam. I'm one of those people stuck frustratingly in between regular and petite length — regular pants puddle and drag, petites ride up — and finding hiking pants that hit right is a constant battle. These get it right. The inseam lands in that ideal in-between sweet spot, so they sit cleanly at the ankle without bunching or needing to be hemmed. If you've struggled with the regular-vs-petite gamble like I have, this length is a genuine relief and reason enough on its own to buy.

The abrasion resistance is another highlight. The fabric truly looks and feels abrasion resistant — durable enough to take brushing against…
