I chose this coat in the Black version because I loved the overall style and thought it looked like a warm coat. I ordered it for my nephew to try. He typically wears a size Large so that is what I ordered and it fit him perfectly. He loves the coat and it is very warm. The things I love the most about the coat are that it is a longer length parka- it covers more and keeps you warmer than a typical winter coat. The extra length actually makes a huge difference when it's cold outside because it prevents cold air from blowing up inside the coat. At the same time it isn't too long and doesn't come off as a weird "trench coat" or long peacoat style of coat. It's right in the middle. You won't look like you've got 3 kids stacked in a trenchcoat, lol.

I also like that it has a simple classic logo on the righthand corner that isn't tacky. I don't want to be a walking billboard but at the same time I don't mind if there is one simple logo on a coat or jacket. I particularly love the quilted material. It has several rows of quilting that give it some texture and add to the warmth of the coat- but it's quilted in a simple striped pattern that is perfect for men to wear. It doesn't look like a women's parka in any way. It looks great dressed up or dressed down- you can wear it more casually or wear it over a nice outfit out to dinner so it really does double duty.
