Ordered this for my husband in the heather black color and XL size. The jacket is true-to-size and is cut to be a little form fitted. This gives the body a more put together look and my husband appreciates the fit. The fleece is lightweight and perfect for chilly, but not cold conditions. It’s a good outdoor exercise jacket. The material is soft and the heather gray color is slick. My husband isn’t in love with the look of the black chest pocket though. The zipper runs smoothly and the pockets are convenient. It handles the washer and dryer just fine and hasn’t shown signs of pilling. The price is decent for a nice, fitted fleece.

I think this one is pretty good quality for the currently listed price (around forty five dollars USD). It's lightweight, but don't let that fool you. I live up in the mountains, and although it's been a mild autumn, this jacket keeps you really warm when it's cold out. In fact, I can't wear it in the lower sixties as it's too hot. In the fifty degree range it keeps me nice and toasty. It's comfortable, surprisingly thin, and so far it appears well made enough to last a few years at minimum. I'd recommend it.

Great looking, great fitting jacket. Not just your plain lightweight fleece-it seems to be a more sturdy material. Very very soft fleece lining, all zipper pockets. One left side chest pocket that zips closed, and a pocket bottom left and right front. Love the logo “Pioneer”-well made and seems more true to size than some other name brands. This is well worth every penny-looks sharp enough to wear to work, church, or on your daily walk. This was the collar edition with no hood-but I found they also make this jacket with hoods! I wished I had found the hooded one first, but this will look good with a favorite winter hat. It’s a nice rich black color(does come in other color options), my photos lightened the jacket up in some pictures.

I would definitely get one of these again; excellent for daily wear. Nice and warm too.

It took me a while to review this jacket as I got it in late summer and fall weather comes late in the high, desert plains.

Anyhoo,...The jacket interior is a fleece material while the exterior is a tight-knit fabric that is both flexible and breathable (as seen in attached photos).

The jacket has a total of five pockets: two open mesh pockets in the jacket interior by the stomach area, two zippered pockets on the outside also around the stomach area, and one smaller zippered pocket in the upper left breast area, although the best you can fit in there is a small set of keys.

The main zipper up the middle goes all the way to the top, if you wish to keep your neck warm and dry. And while the cuffs at the end of the arms do not provide a snug, tight fit for those with smaller wrists, it does have some elasticity for those with bigger wrists.

This jacket should feel good to wear for spring, fall and mild winter days. Could also be used to "layer" yourself with other shirts or coats on those colder days. I have also worn it around the house in lieu of a sweatshirt or sweater to keep the chill off.

It looks and feels very quality made and should last a long time.
