I spend a lot of time outside in the summer, walking the dogs, working around the yard, or out on the lake. So anything that gives real sun protection without making me sweat more is a win. This shirt checks all the boxes. It’s extremely lightweight, doesn’t cling or hold sweat like a normal shirt, and honestly feels like you’re wearing nothing. The four‑way stretch is super comfortable, and at 6'1" and 200 lbs, the XL fits me perfectly with plenty of length in the sleeves and torso.

The watch window is a feature I’m seeing more often on long‑sleeve sun shirts and I can see how it could be useful if you wear a smartwatch all the time. Definitely made to show off your smartwatch The thumb holes are there if you like them, if not they do make it so sleeves are long enough not to ride up. The hood is also well designed, nice and loose with a tall collar and elastic face opening that keeps it in place even when you’re jogging or riding a dirt bike.

I picked the gray color to match my new Custom Air Forces and the match is almost perfect. This one is definitely staying in my wardrobe. Cooling shirts like this are one of my favorite things to wear in the early spring and early fall when the temps swing drastically between day and night. It wicks sweat fast and dries even faster. The fabric has a really neat texture up close.

My only concern is durability in the woods. The fabric is made of very fine fibers, and I don’t think it would handle snags well if you’re pushing through…

The Pioneer Camp UPF 50+ sun protection hoodie is listed for men but I ordered it for myself in medium to wear out in the yard since I have a sun sensitivity that creates autoimmune inflammation. The size is true to others I have in a medium in men’s shirts and the cut is straight at the hem.

The material is 88% poly/12% spandex with a slight waffle weave. The shirt easily moves with you with its 4-way stretch design and although it is lightweight, it is durable with its reinforced double seams. This makes this long sleeve shirt very functional whether you are wearing it on the beach, hiking up in the mountains or using in the garden. It also features a hood and my favorite watch hole and thumb holes. This is a thoughtful design so you can easily see your progress on your smart watch without having to hike up your sleeve.

The price is great for such well-made sun protection and I am looking forward to wearing it out in the warmer months since it breathes well. All in all a great shirt for the price and it washes well and dries quickly on a line without any deformation. Highly recommend.

This lightweight hoodie does not disappoint either. The soft performance fabric, excellent true to size fit and a couple of unique cash outs from your typical hoodie- thumb slots to prevent sleeves from riding up during your activity and a front collar that you can pull up to cover your face was a pleasant surprise and a different look.

Quality materials, as always, and excellent sizing for your outdoor adventures. You can wear this as a base layer or over a tee or golf shirt as well.
