⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Impressive Waterproof Performance & Built to Last

I’ve been extremely impressed with these Pioneer Camp 3L rain pants. Right out of the package, you can tell they’re made with high-quality materials—not thin or flimsy like a lot of other rain gear.

The waterproofing is the real deal. I’ve worn them in steady rain and wet conditions, and they kept me completely dry the entire time. The seam sealing and fabric feel very well constructed, and you can tell they’re designed for serious outdoor use—not just light drizzle.

What really stands out is the combination of durability and comfort. The material feels tough enough to handle rugged terrain without worrying about tearing, but it’s still lightweight and easy to move in. The articulated knees and crotch design make a big difference when hiking or climbing.

The full side zippers are a huge bonus. They make it super easy to put the pants on over boots, and they also help with ventilation when you start heating up. That’s something a lot of rain pants get wrong, but these balance waterproofing and breathability really well.

Fit-wise, the waistband is comfortable and flexible, and the adjustable hems help seal out wind and rain when needed. The waterproof pockets are also a nice touch for keeping essentials dry.

Overall, these are a great investment if you spend time outdoors in unpredictable weather. Whether you’re hiking, working outside, or traveling, they perform exactly how you’d want rain pants to perform—reliable, durable, and comfortable.

They seem a bit pricey but for the quality you get I think it is justified.

I did not know what size to order since there was no size guide in the listing. I ordered the XL since I often order XL for shirts. I usually order 36x32 for pants and the XL fit pretty well and had plenty of room for shorts or pants underneath. These were priced at $149.99 when I ordered them in March of 2026. They seem a bit pricey but for the quality you get I think it is justified. I have a lot of trail miles in as I ran a hiking group for a number of years. These pants are meant to go over your existing pants or shorts while hiking, they have side zippers to make going over your boots easier. If I was going on a hike and rain was in the forecast I would wear these instead of traditional hiking pants or put them in the backpack. I tested the waterproof aspect of the material by putting my arm up in the leg of the pants and ran them under the faucet in the sink. The material portion kept the water out and it shed right off. Water did get through the side zipper but that was a direct on stream from the faucet. I won’t know how waterproof they are until I take them hiking in steady rain. They have nice fine stitching and the seams are sealed on the inside. The side zippers have top and bottom zipper pulls which come in handy for venting. The leg bottoms have drawstrings. The pockets are zippered and have lots of room.

    Weird Fit, Costly, But Durable.

These Pioneer Camp Men’s 3L Full Zip Waterproof Windbreaker Breathable Lightweight Outdoor Rain Pants are durable. From the moment you put them on, you can sense the level of protection they offer. The layered feel and ski-pants fit enhance dryness. My concerns are twofold: they fit narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, so consider sizing up. Secondly, the price seems high; perhaps half would be more reasonable. If the price is over $100, a matching top should be included. Otherwise, these pants perform as expected.
