The material on the bottom of the brim doesn't follow the curve perfectly and kind of takes a shortcut. Other reviewers described it better, but you can push on the fabric and it moves. Not a problem, just unusual.

The buckle clicks and locks into the little plastic so you can adjust it to your size and then it stays at that size when you put it on. The extra band tucks into the hat to hide the excess length. It's an ingenious buckle design, and nothing I've seen on a hat before. It takes a little getting used to, but it works well. I wish more hats came with this buckle!

One thing that I noticed immediately is that the visor is hard. It does flex a little. This should keep its shape wash after wash. My head is on the smaller spectrum (21.5). At the maximum tightness, it sits comfortable around my head with just a little bit of bunching in the keyhole area. After a 1.5 hour session of intense drills, the cap was quite damp with sweat but not soaked. So it dissipates the moisture and evaporates it effectively. 30 minutes after I stopped, the cap is still on my head and it was almost completely dry except for the sweat band. That stayed damp for a long time. The temp outside was 87 degrees and sunny.
