I love this jacket. Why? First, it has inside pockets—something I wish more manufacturers of women’s clothes would consider. All the pockets are also a good size which is rare for women’s clothing.

The fit is true to size. Although I wear a medium, I ordered a large so I could fit sweaters underneath without feeling restrictive. I could have ordered my size and it still would have provided some room. I also am larger in the bust so I don’t look poured into it. The cut is good too since the sleeves are a tad on the longer side (you don’t show your arm when you reach for something which is a pet peeve of mine.) and it’s cut in at the waist just slightly to provide shape without having to size down or give up room other places. I am 5’7” and the end of the jacket sits just below the top of my rear. I appreciate this since you don’t feel the cold if you bend over or have to tug at it when moving.

One of the best features of this jacket is the lack of cruelty to animals. I love down jackets but always feel guilty about buying them or won’t buy it if it’s not certified so this is a win for me. The jacket itself is lightweight, well made and has quality zippers. The hood is also puffed and I like the silhouette of the cut of it. Because it is also elasticized, it doesn’t fall over my eyes when wearing it.

The jacket is packable and it comes with a nice quality, zippered pouch to put it in. I love this since I like to keep a jacket in my car for those “just in case” moments when…

This jacket surprised me with how lightweight yet warm it is. It folds up small enough to easily fit in a suitcase or tote bag, which makes it perfect for travel or everyday use. The fit is flattering without feeling tight, and the hood adds great protection on windy or rainy days. The material feels high quality and doesn’t look bulky like some puffers do. Overall, it’s a really nice balance of comfort, warmth, and practicality for the price.

I got a size medium and I'm 5'6 and 140 lbs . It fit comfortably. I wouldn't have liked to size down.

We camp a lot in the summer and hike as well and needed a new down jacket.

I got this in maroon and I love the color. I got size XL and it fits like an XL should. It has extra room for a sweatshirt underneath on warm nights. It also packs small which is great for putting it in a backpack on hikes or packing it for a camping trip. It is very lightweight as well - so I could easily take it on a backpacking trip.

In terms of warmth - it is good for 40 degree mornings when camping. It isn't as warm as some of my really warm jackets that I wear in 20-30 degrees - but it is great for Southern California. Even when camping - it never gets colder than the 30s at night.

I love that it has a hood. It helps to keep me really warm . On cold nights when camping, I wear the jacket and put the hood on to stay cozy and warm. It is very comfortable as well.

It is well made and good quality. I do wish it came with a nylon stuff sack for packing it when hiking - but I can use one I already have.

This Pioneer Camp Down puffer jacket is cute. It’s soft, with nice pockets and a hoodie with drawstring for extra warmth. The downside to me, is that even though it is described as an ultra lightweight puffer jacket, it’s just extremely thin. I can’t see it being adequate as a jacket you want to wear in cool weather. At all. So, if you just want this jacket for its fashionable appearance, it’s great. The material is just super thin, it won’t be sufficient for winter wear.

Light and gauzy, this stuffable puffy coat would wear well under any layer in addition to being a great outer layer in its own right. I appreciate the high quality soft fabric which helps with my sensory sensitivities. Despite being lightweight, it’s quite warm, without a few minutes of having it on in a 72 degree house I started to get warm. Plenty of room in the shoulders for my beefy Chiropractor arms 🤣 I’m wearing a size large and it feels loosely.
