This company makes thoughtfully designed, well made outerwear for hiking, running and other outdoor activities. This jacket does not disappoint! It is silky smooth and soft, and super lightweight, but warm. It has good sized pockets and a hood that keeps you dry in inclement weather and stays in place. This jacket is breathable and comes carefully folded in its own zipper pouch. It is easy to move in and so easy to pack or stuff in a backpack or duffle. The sides have insets of knit which hug your body and make this a figure flattering choice. Because this is slim fitting I would recommend sizing up. I love this silky jacket in terms of design, fit, versatility and softness.

I love this jacket! It's so soft! It's insulated and feels like a comfortable sleeping bag.

It has three outside pockets for holding everything you need to walk the dog or go for a run.

It's tapered, so it has a flattering fit too. I chose this size based on the size chart, and it fits perfectly. Upsize if you want to wear a heavy shirt underneath.

The zipper zips up past your chin! This will be great for cold, windy mornings walking the dog. There is also elastic at the bottom and the wrists to help keep drafts from coming in.

After wearing, the jacket folds up easily to fit into the travel pouch. It's great because it doesn't wrinkle or have creases to show that it was crammed into a small package.

Besides all of the above, this is a pretty and stylish jacket, and I'm very happy with it!

This puffer jacket from Pioneer Camp is very comfortable and would be fantastic to go hiking or on a run. Or, to wear around town and to walk the dogs like I am planning. The puffer is made out of lightweight material and has a descent loft to it although, it isn’t going to be that warm on its own. I like that for something I can wear around and then get in the car and not overheat. If you are wearing a base layer, it will be perfect for a fall run. The fact that you can move in it due to the stretchy material on the sides and arms makes it great for outdoor activities such as pickleball.

I love the hood on the coat and missed that in the description. Normally, I don’t like the puffy hoods because they look ridiculous but this one looks nice up or down. I like that the neck comes up higher so you can wear a scarf and keep your neck warm even if you are wearing your hair up. There are two pockets and as true to form for other women’s clothes, they don’t hold much. There isn’t any inside pockets and if I was to wish to change anything, this would be it. Companies always put them in mens wear but never women’s wear not thinking about the times women don’t want to carry a purse.

Otherwise, I find this coat nice looking and think it would be great with a pair of jeans or of course, matching hiking pants, running shorts or yoga clothes.
