    A True Backcountry Shell

    I’ve tested this jacket on multi-day backpacking trips and alpine hikes, and it performs exactly how a technical shell should. The waterproofing is excellent, and the breathability makes a huge difference during long climbs. Even with a heavy pack, the fabric has held up well against rocks and rough terrain.

    Built for Long Adventures

    As someone who spends a lot of time backpacking, I’m picky about shells. This one checks all the boxes: durable fabric, excellent waterproof protection, and enough ventilation for steep ascents. The pit zips are especially useful when pushing hard uphill with a loaded pack.
